Governance

Quotes, projects, people and decisions in one place next to Flow, with gates, four eyes and a decision ledger you can have checked.

From quote to live: the project stage

Governance is the app next to Flow where you keep track of how your work goes: from the customer's question through a quote and a project to the evidence that it went well. The owner switches it on per organisation in the portal; after that everyone in the organisation signs in through the portal, with their own account. You always start on My work: what waits for your approval, advice that was asked for, hours and quotes, and with every point why it is yours.

In short

  • Quotes with the AI team

Six AI Colleagues write a first version, with the hours realistic and with a margin. Everything is a proposal you accept, adjust or reject.

  • The project stage

A project runs through the chain of your governance profile, with at every gate who approves. You follow it in 2D or in 3D.

  • Four eyes at every gate

A gate asks for approval from different people; the same person never takes two seats at one gate.

  • The governance profile

Steps, gates, RACI and controls from the library, for example for DORA or NIS2, in versions you first take for a test drive.

  • A decision ledger that cannot be changed quietly

Every decision links to the previous one with a fingerprint, and you export the whole chain for the auditor.

  • People, hours and squads

Roles, teams and rights in plain words, hours per day and per week, and squads whose health Governance works out by itself.

What you can do

What you can do

  1. Switch Governance on and come in

The owner of the organisation switches Governance on in the portal, under Identity management. Governance then appears at the top of the portal for everyone in the organisation, and you sign in through the portal. My work shows what waits for you.

  2. Make a quote with the AI team

Paste the customer's question into a new quote and the AI team writes a first version: summary, scope, work and hours, risks, planning and why you. The AI team changes nothing by itself: every proposal sits with the part it changes, with what is there now and what it becomes. Then you tune the hours per line, as in a spreadsheet.

  3. From quote to live, in 2D and 3D

A final quote becomes a project. On the Stage you see the chain from question to evidence, with at every gate who advises and who approves, and the second approval must come from someone else. With one click you fill the board in Flow from the quote. You also see the same chain in 3D, as a landscape of islands.

  4. Record how projects run for you

The governance profile records the steps, who approves at which gate and who is responsible, accountable, consulted or informed (RACI). Governance points out what does not add up: an AI Colleague, for example, is never accountable. Controls from the library support frameworks such as DORA, NIS2, the AI Act and the GDPR; a test drive shows whether a sample project gets through the chain before you submit a new version.

  5. Have the decision ledger checked

Every decision goes into the decision ledger: who decided, in which role, about what and why. Every decision carries the fingerprint of the previous one, so Governance can recalculate the whole chain. Exporting for the auditor gives the chain as a CSV file, with the verification report alongside.

  6. People, teams, rights and hours

Give everyone a role, such as Board, Project lead, Team member or Auditor, and see per person what they can do and why. Teams give several people the same roles and tasks at once, and decision roles set who decides at a gate. Team members write their hours, project leads approve them, and squads show how a fixed group of people and their projects are doing.

Getting started with Governance

Governance brings quotes, projects, people and decisions together, next to your environments in Flow. It is on or off per organisation, and only the owner switches it on in the portal; after that everyone in the organisation opens it from the menu, with their own portal account. You start on My work, with a short list ‘Getting started’: four steps that tick themselves off. The left bar grows with what you use.

Making a quote with the AI team

A quote starts with the client's question. Paste that question into a new quote and six AI Colleagues write a first version: summary, scope, work and hours, risks, planning and why you. Everything they write is a proposal: you accept, adjust or reject. Then you tune the hours in the lines, change something in one sentence, and make the quote final. A final quote is fixed; you keep working in a copy.

From quote to live: the project stage

A final quote becomes a project. The project runs through the chain of your governance profile: at every gate the people with the right duty approve, always two different people where the profile asks for it. Whoever must be consulted gets the request for advice by themselves. The work from the quote lands on the board in Flow as epics, features and items, and every decision is in the decision ledger. You follow it in 2D or in 3D.

The board

On the board you follow the work from idea to done. An epic is the big goal, a feature a recognisable part of it and an item the work itself: items move across the columns New, Grooming, Refined, Committed, In progress, Review and Done, and epics and features follow their items by themselves. You create them, move a card with the mouse and with the keyboard, see what Flow says when an item may not move on yet and fix it on the spot. You read an item calmly in the inspector's tabs, or large as a page. Then you choose which items a new version delivers, and see the same items again on the release in Acceptance. Finally an AI app works on the board over MCP. Finally you write an item well: a user story from a template, expanded in the large editor, with a proposal from the AI help that you accept.

Governance profile and RACI

The governance profile sets down how projects run with you: the stages from request to evidence, who approves at which gate, which controls apply and who does what per stage (RACI). You change it in a draft, see straight away what changes and what goes wrong, and have the draft approved by security and management: two different people. Only then does the new version apply, and every decision is in the decision ledger.

Decision ledger and evidence

Every decision in Governance goes into the decision ledger: who decided, in which role, about what and why. Decisions are only added, never changed, and each decision carries the fingerprint of the one before it. That way the ledger checks itself, and an accountant or auditor can recompute that themselves with an export and a small script.

Roles, teams and rights

In Governance a role sets what someone sees and may do: Owner, Board, Project lead, Team member, Auditor or Client reader. You give someone a role, or you put people in a team that holds roles and duties. The Rights page shows per person and per part what they may do, and where that right comes from.

Governance as an app

You can install Governance as an app on your computer or phone: in a window of its own, with its own icon and a quick start. The app keeps only the fixed parts of the screen; your data always stays on the server and is never stored on the device. There is nothing extra to install or manage.

Governance in Claude Desktop (MCP)

Connect Claude Desktop to Governance with just an address: you paste it as a connector, sign in through the portal and choose what the app may do. Then you ask Claude, for example, what is waiting for you today, or have it prepare a quote from a brief. The app works on your behalf, with exactly your rights, in one organisation. It never decides, and you revoke the access again with one click.
