The new portal: where to find what
The portal has become calmer: one question per screen. Here you read where everything is now, and how to do the things you often do.
The portal is the front door of Flow. Here you open your environments, promote a version, invite people and see what Flow costs. Nothing has disappeared. Some things are now one click deeper, under a clearer name.
Looking for something you used to be able to find? Look in the Before → Now table, or press ⌘K and type what you are looking for.
What changed, and why
One question per screen. Every screen now answers one question: is everything running? Does my vault work? Who may do what? What does it cost? Details and buttons are one click deeper. That way you see what you are looking for sooner.
Four fixed places in the bar at the top. These are Environments, Releases, People and Marketplace. Next to them are Docs and your own name. If you work at InnTelligence, you also see Admin.
The rest is behind the name of your organisation. Click the name of your organisation at the top left. There you find Security and sign-in, Governance, Capabilities, Usage and invoices and Settings. That is also where you switch organisation.
Your personal Flow comes first. After signing in you see your personal Flow at the top, the violet card with ◆. Below it are your organisations, one line each.
Environments, plainly named. The portal now simply says Environments: Development → Test → Acceptance → Production.
Your account is under your name. Click your name at the top right for your password, two-step verification, recovery codes, light or dark, the language and signing out.
The classic and the new portal. Everyone now sees the new portal. The classic portal stays one click away for a while: under your name at the top right choose Classic portal, or ‘back to the classic one’ at the top. Going back to the new one works the same way: the classic portal shows ‘Try the new portal’ at the top, and New portal under your name. Your choice is remembered, on your other devices too. InnTelligence decides which portal everyone sees who did not choose one.
Old addresses still work. Did you save a link to an old page? It takes you to the new place by itself.
Before → Now
One table holds everything the portal can do. For each item you see where it used to be, where it is now, how you get there and who it is for.
What is entirely new has no ‘before’: the Marketplace, one switch per capability, and for InnTelligence one update round for every environment. You find those below, part by part.
