Change and delete rows

5 steps± 4 minVideoVerified 22 Oct 2026
  1. Step 1 · Open your development environment
  2. Step 2 · Open the data
  3. Step 3 · Change a cell
  4. Step 4 · In the same row at the same time
  5. Step 5 · Delete a row

Under Data you work directly in the rows of a table, as in a spreadsheet: you change a cell, save that row, or delete a row. Flow checks every change with the same rules as when adding. You update a bike shop's price list.

Step 1 / 5

Open your development environment

In the portal, under Environments, click Development, and there Open. Flow opens in a new tab and you are signed in straight away.

  1. Click Development
Open your development environment · Click Development
  1. Click Open ↗
Open your development environment · Click Open ↗
Step 2 / 5

Open the data

Click the table in the explorer. It opens on the Data tab: every row is a line of input fields. There are 50 per page; if the table has more, you page through with the buttons at the top right.

  1. Click the table ‘Workshop price list’
Open the data · Click the table ‘Workshop price list’
Open the data · The table counts 3 rows.
Step 3 / 5

Change a cell

Click in a cell and type the new value. The row is highlighted and gets a Save button: nothing is stored until you click it. That way you can calmly change several cells of one row in one go.

  1. In price, type 95
Change a cell · In price, type 95
Change a cell · The Save button in the changed row.
  1. Click Save
Change a cell · Click Save
Change a cell · The notice Row saved.
Step 4 / 5

In the same row at the same time

When someone else works in the same row at the same time (a colleague, a workflow, an AI app, or yourself in another window), Flow never silently overwrites the other's work. What someone else saves appears in the table straight away, without losing what you are typing, and another cell of the same row is simply kept as well. When the other just changed the same cell, Flow keeps the rest of your row and shows at that cell who changed it and to what: you keep that value, or choose Save my value.

  1. In price, type 55
In the same row at the same time · In price, type 55
  1. Click Save
In the same row at the same time · Click Save
In the same row at the same time · At the cell: that it just became 52 in another window, and your own value 55.
  1. Click Save my value
In the same row at the same time · Click Save my value
Step 5 / 5

Delete a row

The cross at the end of a row deletes it. Flow asks first; deleting cannot be undone (except through version control or an export).

  1. Click Delete row
Delete a row · Click Delete row
Delete a row · The question whether you are sure.
  1. Click Delete
Delete a row · Click Delete
Delete a row · The notice Row deleted.
Delete a row · 2 rows are left.
