Buttons in a chat widget

6 steps± 4 minVideoVerified 22 Oct 2026
  1. Step 1 · Open your development environment
  2. Step 2 · Pick the Approval request example
  3. Step 3 · Link a workflow to each button
  4. Step 4 · Save, test and publish
  5. Step 5 · Ask for the request in the chat
  6. Step 6 · Choose Approve

A chat widget can also ask something: Approve or Reject, or a form to fill in. Every button starts a workflow, with the widget's data and the choice. That way a manager approves a purchase request without leaving the chat. A choice can be made only once, and the agent itself can never press a button.
